Peter Sudmant Joins the Vallee Scholar Program

Peter Sudmant, Assistant Professor of Integrative Biology, is one of six receipients of the 2022 Vallee Scholars Program. The Vallee Scholar Program provides unrestricted funding for national and international early career researchers at a critical stage in their tenure-track careers. The program recognizes people who perform innovative research in the biomedical sciences field and support their research through funding as well as encouraging dialogue and collaboration among the scholars. Peter Sudmant’s research looks at age as the primary risk factor for almost all common human diseases including cancers, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and neurodegenerative conditions.
