Research interests:
The Staller Lab combines experiments, computation and theory to study gene regulation. The group is initially focused on how transcription factors activate gene expression in yeast and human cells. We use high throughput methods and machine learning to study the relationship between protein sequence and function. We are interested in the different types of activation and the evolution of transcription factors.
