Computational Biology PhD

The main objective of the Computational Biology PhD is to train the next generation of scientists who are both passionate about exploring the interface of computation and biology, and committed to functioning at a high level in both computational and biological fields.

Designated Emphasis

Doctoral students in allied programs receive adjunct training in the different facets of genomic research through the Designated Emphasis in Computational and Genomic Biology.

Undergraduate Mentorship

Through the Berkeley Connect program, the Center mentors undergraduates from the biological and mathematical/computational sciences who have a serious interest in computational biology.
