Bin Yu and Liana Lareau featured in CDSS 150 Years of Women at Berkeley

Bin Yu, Professor of Statistics, and Liana Lareau, Assistant Professor of BioEngineering, were both featured in the Division of Computing, Data Science, and Society’s celebration of 150 years of Women at Berkeley. October 3, 2020 marked the 150th anniversary of the approval of a resolution to allow women in to UC Berkeley.

Bin Yu is a professor in Department of Statistics and a data science researcher working on novel problems regarding machine learning.

Liana Lareau is an Assistant Professor in the Department of BioEngineering whose research is focused on using computational methods to control gene expression.
