Bin Yu, a 2022 Fellow with the UC Noyce Initiative, is a data scientist and professor at UC Berkeley specializing in statistics and data analysis. She applies her expertise to healthcare challenges, including predicting PPE needs during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and developing algorithms to guide CT scan decisions for children in emergency rooms.
