Yun Song and co-authors publish paper on impact of protein dynamics on residue-residue coevolution and contact prediction

Yun Song, Professor of Computer Science and Statistics, and co-authors Alexander Fung, Antoine Koehl, and Milind Jagota published a paper on the impact of protein dynamics on residue-residue coevolution and contact prediction. To address this question, they used MD simulations and alternate conformations. Through their research, they concluded that protein dynamics apply constraints to molecular evolution.
